June Open Day : 15, 20, 28

Live within Art

AOTO Art is a place to be within art.

Located in the quiet residential neighborhood in Ashiya,
it offers it offers time to explore and simply be.

The name carries two meanings: “Ao to” (blue and…) and the sound “A.”
Blue evokes the sky, the sea, and the earth.
“A” marks a beginning—before form, at the origin of creation.

AOTO Project is a space for exhibitions and experimentation,
alongside AOTO Space, where people meet, learn, and create.

Through art, AOTO Art invites a rethinking of everyday life.

1F AOTO Space

Located on the first floor, AOTO Space is a place for creation, learning, and gathering.
It is an open environment where people can grow, interact, and nurture their creativity.

2F AOTO Project

On the second floor, AOTO Project serves as a space for exhibitions by artists.
It is not only a place to view artworks, but also a place to spend time within them—
a space that invites visitors to experience art as part of daily life.

Art Class

Art classes are held in the AOTO Space on the 1st floor. There are adult classes and children’s classes. In the children’s classes, children use a variety of materials to develop their imaginations through the same theme. In the adult classes, children are free to create their own artwork, and we help them discover themselves through their work.
